Take-Home Paycheck Calculator
Use this free paycheck calculator to see how much of your gross pay you actually keep. Enter your pay, filing status and state to get an estimated net paycheck after 2026 federal income tax, Social Security, Medicare and state tax.
How this calculator works
We subtract pre-tax deductions (401(k), health insurance), apply the 2026 standard deduction and federal tax brackets, then add FICA payroll taxes (6.2% Social Security up to $184,500 and 1.45% Medicare) and an estimated state income tax rate. Child tax credit is estimated at $2,200 per child.
